At Satiaphic, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We believe in transparency and plain language.
The short version: We collect only what we need to provide our service. We never sell your data. Period.
What Data We Collect
Account Information
- Email address – To create your account and send important updates
- Name – To personalize your experience
- Password – Stored securely using industry-standard hashing (we never see your actual password)
Business Information
- Business name and details – To set up your workspace
- Google Business Profile data – When you connect your Google account, we access your business profile information and customer reviews (see the Google Business Profile Data section below for full details)
- Feedback form responses – Customer feedback submitted through your QR forms
Customer Data (Your Customers)
- Names and contact info – Only what customers voluntarily provide through feedback forms
- Feedback content – Reviews, suggestions, complaints submitted to your business
Usage Data
- How you use the platform – Pages visited, features used, to improve our product
- Device and browser info – For troubleshooting and security
Why We Collect This Data
- To provide our service – You can't analyze feedback without collecting it
- To improve the product – Understanding usage helps us build better features
- To communicate with you – Account updates, support, important notices
- For billing – Processing payments and managing subscriptions
- For security – Detecting and preventing abuse or unauthorized access
What We Share (And Don't Share)
We share data with:
- Hosting providers – To run our infrastructure (encrypted, secure)
- Payment processors – For subscription billing
- Google APIs – To read your business reviews and profile data when you connect your Google account (we only read data; we do not modify your Google Business Profile)
- Email services – To send you notifications
- Analytics (limited) – Anonymized usage data to improve the product
We NEVER:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your customer data with other businesses
- Use your data for advertising
- Access your data for purposes other than providing the service
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or a specific business workspace:
- Soft delete – Data is marked for deletion and hidden immediately
- 30-day recovery window – You can restore within 30 days
- Permanent deletion – After 30 days, data is permanently purged

Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies for:
- Authentication – Keeping you logged in
- Preferences – Remembering your settings (like dark mode)
- Analytics – Understanding how the product is used (anonymized)
We don't use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
Google Business Profile Data
When you connect your Google account to Satiaphic, we request access to your Google Business Profile data through Google OAuth. Here is exactly what we access, why, and how we handle it:
What Google Data We Access
- Business profile information – Your business name, address, category, and listing details
- Customer reviews – Review text, star ratings, reviewer display names, and timestamps
- Review replies – Any responses you have posted to reviews
We access this data in read-only mode. We do not modify, delete, or post to your Google Business Profile on your behalf.
Why We Access It
- Feedback analysis – To categorize reviews (complaint, suggestion, praise, etc.) and surface patterns
- Pattern recognition – To identify recurring themes across your reviews over time
- Task generation – To help you turn review insights into assignable improvement tasks
We do not use your Google data for advertising, marketing to your customers, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Satiaphic service.
How Long We Keep It
Synced Google review data is retained for as long as your Satiaphic account and business workspace are active. When you disconnect your Google account or delete your workspace, synced Google data is marked for deletion immediately and permanently purged within 30 days.
Disconnecting Google
You can disconnect your Google Business Profile from Satiaphic at any time through your account settings. Disconnecting immediately stops all future data syncing. You can also request full deletion of previously synced Google data by emailing privacy@satiaphic.com.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Satiaphic's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security
We protect your data with:
- Encryption in transit – All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Encryption at rest – Stored data is encrypted
- Access controls – Only authorized team members can access systems
- Regular backups – Your data is backed up securely
- Security monitoring – We monitor for suspicious activity
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access – Request a copy of your data
- Correct – Update inaccurate information
- Delete – Request deletion of your data
- Export – Get your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent – Stop us from processing your data
